Valencia Basket pulls off a hard-fought victory on the court of Basket Landes (57-66)

J8 EUROLEAGUE WOMEN

Valencia Basket secured an important victory on Basket Landes' court in Round 8 of the EuroLeague Women, in the second round of the European competition. The team knew how to suffer when the game wasn't flowing, reaching the final minutes of the third quarter with a tie that they managed to break, subsequently sealing the victory in the final period, despite the home team's attempt at a comeback. Leo Fiebich was vital in the victory, especially in the final stretch of the game. The Taronja team returns to winning ways in continental competition and moves to 5-3 in Group F. A well-deserved victory for Rubén Burgos' team against the French league leaders, on a court where very few teams have managed to win, and those that have done so have done so by a narrow margin.
